COR WON IN DENMARK
NEXT: LAUSITZ RALLY

Picture: 20 year old Cor Yntema, won on wonderful asphalt roads at island Fyn in Denmark. Now the duh driver will start in the final rally in the Cup - german Lausitz Rallye.

- After first day and nine stages Cor Yntema and I had won 4 stages each - and it was only 1,5 seconds difference between us. (The danish Rune Christian Pedersen in a 240 won one stage of fist days 9 stages)
-  I was surprised that Cor was so quick and decided to try even harder second day.
Swedish rally driver Emil Tigerberg one a year ago decided to win the Volvo Original Nordic West Euro Cup 2008. And after the 6.th leg - danish KDAK Rally - he is the Cup winner.
But-  dutch driver Cor Yntema is going better and better.
And in Denmark  the dutc 940-driver won the class.
The win gave him 30 championship points - and the 2.nd place overall in the Cup.
So both drivers dont need to start in the final rally in the middle of October - but they will:
- Of cause I will go to Boxberg/Weisswasser, Emil says.
- The germab gravel rally is one of the most exiting rallies overall.
Cor has never started in Lausitz Rallye before. But even he and his team will start this year.
The dutch asphalt expert started in his first gravel rally in Sweden some month ago and learnd so much that he want to start in Germany too.

But - back te Denmark.
Day 2 Emil tryed to go faster on the first stag of the day - a  25 km long stages. But after 7 kms he jumped to long , landed on his rear front wheel - and got a puncture.
- We lost 2 munutes on the puncture and tall chanes to win. But the differens at finish was not more than a minute so we really tried all day. But Cor lost time on the same stage because the team missed no note 5 kms (driven 3 times)  during recce. So they had to drive that part of the stage without pacenotes.

In Germany Emil Tigerberg and Cor Yntema will meet a lot of Volvo drivers. German Jochen Walther - nr 3 in championship - and maybe up to 10 german drivers will start and some more driver from The Netherlands.
From Sweden arrives at least 6-7 teams. F ex Eric Vrena Johansson, the winner of the Cup last year. Eric this year drives a Renault Clio N3 but he absolutly want to drive his  old 940 in the german rally.
